examiner near your home by using the lookup tool at
http://safetyseal.net/GetVSC/.
We are constantly adding volunteers to our list throughout the nation, but
there are still some areas that we may not have any. There are three other options that are available to you... First go back to http://safetyseal.net/GetVSC/ and change the option to increase the Distance to 30 miles for the search to see if there are any within that extended distance. The second option is to go to this page, and select the Coast Guard district that you are in from the map by clicking on it. Then you want to click the email link for the person that has DSO-VE after his/her name. Then in the email body, tell them that you were unable to find a volunteer examiner using the I Want a VSC system on-line and would like to find someone in your area. Be sure to give them your information, who you are and how to contact you as well as where you live so they can try and find a volunteer that has not yet joined our on-line system. The third option would be to use the US Coast Guard Flotilla Finder to contact a Flotilla near you to request a VSC from. Don't click on Free Vessel Safety Check as it will bring you back to our system, use the Join the Auxiliary or Public Boating Classes links.
